I adore taking low light architectural photos of cities at night. The vibrancy, texture and contrast really makes me happy. The uniqueness of the Selfridges building is uniquely Brum and is the centre piece for the city centre. Over the last 20 years, it has “cemented” itself into the heart of the city. Using a photo I took; I created this piece to reflect the feeling and reflection of the city at night. It will use iridescent powder to reflect the different colours or the surrounding area and creating a different take on the building and atmosphere of the city.
