Weβre inviting all crafters and makers to take part in a very special project for Bulls in the City 2025! π§΅
Could you create bull-themed items for us to sell in our Bulls in the City pop-up shop next summer?
Whether youβre a knitter, crocheter, stitcher, sewer or maker of any kind, weβd love to have you involved!
Join our crafting herd and get making β we need items of all shapes and sizes to raise vital funds for Birmingham Hospice.
From bags, toys, keyrings, clothing, plushies β anything at all that celebrates our trail and the mighty bull.
Your lovingly-made creations will be sold in our pop-up shop in Birmingham city centre next summer when our trail is live β but donβt wait until then, you can start crafting now!
You can drop off any creations at either hospice site β please label them as crafts for Bulls in the City β and we will keep them safe until next year.

Artists are invited to join us at our Meet the Muse event next week to learn more about Bulls in the City! π
On Wednesday 25 September, weβll be hosting an event at our Selly Park site for all artists who wish to join our trail and submit a design.
Reminder that artist submissions for Bulls in the City are still open! Get your incredi-bull designs submitted before the closing date on 22 November.
All 40 of our sculptures will be designed and painted by artists, creating an immersive, educational art trail across our fantastic city next year.

Introducing… Brodie! π
Our first Bulls in the City calf has been officially named! Thank you to everyone who came up with some incredi-bull names for this little guy.
As our hero sculpture, Broderick, is named after the sculptor Laurence Broderick who created the famous Bullring bull that our trail sculptures are based off, it seems fitting that our first calf should be a mini-Broderick A.K.A. Brodie!

Our hero sculpture, Broderick, is named after the sculptor of the Birmingham Bull, Laurence Broderick, who sadly died in April this year aged 88.
Officially known as `The Guardian`, the Birmingham Bull is a 2.2 metre tall bronze sculpture, proudly standing outside the @bullring – it`s an iconic symbol of our city, and has been listed as one of the Top 10 Works of Public Art by the Independent.
The sculpture was unveiled in 2003 when the shopping centre opened, and has been arguably Birmingham`s best-known mascot ever since. Laurence Broderick has left behind an incredible legacy to the people of Birmingham, and we`re excited to commemorate this through our hero sculpture. …

Last night, we were joined at @millenniumpoint by Birmingham businesses, schools and community groups for our Bulls in the City launch event! π
Thank you so much to everyone who attended – we loved talking all things @wildinart, Brum and bulls.
A big thank you also to @jessp_illustrates for designing and painting our hero sculptures. It was amazing to watch the art come to life and we cannot wait to see our hero bull Broderick completely finished!
There`s never been a more important time to get involved in supporting Birmingham Hospice, as we continue to fight for fair funding of our vital services. In summer 2025, there will be 40 large bulls and 80 calves around the city. Could one of them be yours?

We`re treating you to a sneak peak of our fibreglass sculpture based on the iconic Bullring bull!
Itβs amazing to have our first sculpture at Bulls in the City HQ and weβre thrilled to share the first look today.
Based on the bronze bull standing proud outside the Bullring, our art trail will see 40 fibreglass sculptures stomping into Brum in summer 2025.
