Our aim is to help people live well and spend the time they have left how they want to, and to be there for families, carers and loved ones. We are there every step of the way – listening, offering advice, planning and easing pain – helping people to focus on living and spending time with the people who matter most to them.

We believe that anyone with a terminal diagnosis deserves to live well and make the very most of the time that remains.

Our patients are at the heart of everything we do, and we have a proud history of caring for people in all our communities when they need it the most.

Birmingham Hospice is the main provider of vital end of life care for those with terminal conditions throughout Birmingham, Solihull, Sandwell and Sutton Coldfield.

What is costs to run Birmingham hospice

Last year it cost £18.8 million to run Birmingham Hospice over 12 months. Our charity is not fully funded by the NHS, meaning we rely on fundraising and voluntary income. This year, we will need to raise £7.2 million; this is a £1 million increase from last year.
