Deliverabull takes inspiration from Mailbox Birmingham which when built in 1970 was the largest mechanised letters and parcels sorting office in the country. My bull is dressed as a postman and wears a postman’s hat and delivery satchel. The horns and tail are decorated with all kinds of stamps. Sir Rowland Hill from Birmingham introduced the Penny Black stamp in 1837 and this paved the way for the first uniform postal system. The bull features many of the wonderful sights and attractions Birmingham has to offer. Look closely and you will spot many bull posties on their way around Birmingham delivering parcels and letters! Celebrate the beautiful city of Birmingham and the joy of receiving post with this fun design!
