Ozzy the Bull, designed and brought to life by Artem SFX studios for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, has brought so much joy to Birmingham and the world. I had to try and recreate a smaller version of him. Whilst I have zero knowledge of engineering, I’m always amazed and fascinated by how seemingly complicated mechanisms are put together, and this is no different. The mechanical bull is a representation of Birmingham’s industrious history, making strides in science, engineering and progress.

The Auction
After the summer trail, the sculptures will be auctioned off to raise money for Birmingham Hospice. You will have the opportunity to own a bull of your own and make a difference to ensure the future of your local hospice.
