When is the trail on?
Wednesday 16th July – Sunday 14th September
Is the event free?
The trail is completely free and can be enjoyed over and over again, throughout the summer of 2025. However, there are lots of ways you can support Birmingham Hospice throughout the trail period and beyond.
Where will the bulls be located?
There are 33 large bull sculptures featured in the main Bulls in the City trail in Birmingham city centre.
In addition to these there will be a cluster of 4 large bulls on Harborne High Street and 3 large bulls on Boldmere High Street.
88 smaller mini bulls, created by schools and groups, will be located in internal venues around the city as well as in our shops located in Harborne Boldmere, Northfield, Mere Green and Heeley Road.
Locations can be found on trail maps or on the trail app which is downloadable from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store when the trail is live.

How can I get hold of a trail map?

Funds raised from the sale of merchandise will help Birmingham Hospice continue its vital work supporting patients and their loved ones when they need us most.
How long will it take to complete the trail?
That’s entirely up to you, trailblazer! Whether you’re charging through like a bull on a mission or taking a leisurely wander with coffee stops and photo ops, the choice is yours. The Bulls will be roaming the city from 16th July to 14th September, so you’ve got plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Make it a fun-packed day out or spread the adventure over a few visits — either way, the herd is waiting!
Where is best to park?
Parking is available across the whole city. Visit the Birmingham City Council website: www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/50027/find_parking for details of its car parks.
Is the trail wheelchair and pushchair accessible?
All of the sculpture locations are accessible for wheelchair and pushchair users.
I’ve noticed an issue with a sculpture, how do I report it?
Please report any issues via our Damage Reporting Hotline: 07970040863.
Where possible, please provide one or more of the following; Sculpture Name, (which can be found on the plaque located on the top of the plinth with each sculpture), or the location of the sculpture. Shop names or landmarks can be helpful.
