Terri Peay

Terri lives in Dorset and her design honours the process of grieving.

My involvement in becoming a Bulls in the City artist stems from a passion to share my own experiences of grief through illustration. After loosing my brother suddenly in 2020 and subsequently being diagnosed with a rare heart disease at a young age, my Bull design has been created to reflect the strength and resilience that can be found through grieving. I created the design, ‘Brighter Days Will Come’, to depict the resilience of the Goldfinch in sowing the wildflowers that will bloom; to help provide a source of reflection to people that are navigating grief in an incredibly supportive place, like Birmingham hospice.
