Nicola Mills

Nicola is heading back to Birmingham for her next Wild in Art project.

I would love to be involved in this trail because having, studied theatre design in Birmingham, the city holds a special place in my heart, and I have many fond memories of my time there. I’ve previously participated in several Wild in Art projects and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was an honour to support initiatives that raise funds for local charities, while providing artists with a platform to showcase their work, be celebrated, and have their voices heard. I loved meeting other artists during the painting process and at the celebratory events – it was truly exciting and meaningful. A particular highlight was working closely with the charity and seeing the impact of the funds raised. I was also privileged to help facilitate creativity in local schools, guiding students in the creation of their sculptures. And, of course, watching the community engage with and enjoy the spectacular trail was a memorable moment.
