This design was inspired by the canals, barges and narrowboats that travel along the web of canals that spread throughout Birmingham and the wider Black Country. Laurence Broderick`s bull sculpture remerges reimagined as a watery narrowboat displaying the culture of folk art, flowers and the castle. As a modern twist, the artist has featured her nearest local castle, Dudley Castle, with a few shadow-like graffitied residents from its zoo! Bill Bull Barge is aptly located canal-side at The Mailbox.

We’d love to spotlight Fin from West Bromwich who has completed the Bulls in the City trail! 👏
The four-year old collected all 128 large and mini sculptures with the help of mom and dad, Liam and Nicola 🐂
Fin said his favourite part of the bull trail was looking for bulls relating to football teams, and practicing his numbers by recording each bull in the app.
He also enjoyed travelling on the metro to get to Birmingham each time they did more of the trail 🚊
Have you completed the trail? Let us know! Scroll to the end to see Fin’s ‘I’ve completed the trail’ selfie! 🥳
We cannot BULLIEVE there are just over 3 weeks left until the end of the Bulls in the City trail.
If you’re yet to visit – make sure you do before 14th September! Or, get your tickets to our Farewell Event on October 10th-12th to see all 128 bulls together 🤠
We’re thrilled that Bulldozer is back in his rightful place after being carefully repaired by our experts.
Sadly, when a sculpture is damaged the cost of the repairs fall to us as the charity organising the event. Our aim is that the money raised from Bulls in the City goes towards supporting more local people to access the end of life care of their choice. So if you would like to make a donation to help us cover the repair costs, we’d be incredi-bully grateful 🙏
